(More customer reviews)Problems with the rear caliper on my 2005 Royal Star ruined both the semi-metallic pads and the rear disc.After replacing the caliper and the disc (with a much harder, ventilated Braking racing disc) I installed the organic EBC pads, and the occasional in-town use of the rear brake was both quiet and sufficiently positive to make the change worthwhile. I realize the life of the pads will be shorter than the semi-metallics, but the absence of squeal from the rear brake is a satisfactory trade-off.
