It's built like a tank and is an excellent piece of design work.
If you've every tried riveting chains with simpler tools, it is easy to end up with plates or pins that are not perfectly parallel, kinking the chain.
This tool makes it very difficult to screw up the job.It holds all the pieces securely and in correct alignment while you apply the large amounts of force needed to turn the bolt.
It is expensive, but it's well worth the peace of mind to know your chain is secured safely, and the cost is still reasonable compared to shop fees.
