(More customer reviews)I just stepped up to the Corsair V from a Scorpion EXO 1000 and I could not be happier.
The scorpion is a really nice helmet with a lot of nice features. But the Arai has a history of safety and innovation that no other helmet can match in my opinion.
I wear an xxl scorpion and ordered a xxl arai but the salesman suggested I step down a size. He was right. Xl fits perfect.
First thing I noticed is the outside of this helmet is noticeably smaller than the scorp. It's way lighter too. I opened all the vents for my first ride, and just a block later I closed all but the rear and center top vent because the vents work! The scorpion never seemed to vent. I could not feel it anyway. The arai will create a mini hurricane if you want.
The fit and finish is excellent. The paint job is really nice.
Some people have complained about the padding material. I have no problem with it.
I have not changed the visor yet. Some hate the system. I have watched videos and if you follow the instructions it works fine.
