(More customer reviews)I purchased the Rider FM version since it had an FM receiver and an input for an MP3 player.The bluetooth phone would be helpful for listening to my GPS, and answering phone calls would be an added benefit.I got the Rider and installed in on my flip-face (modular) helmet.One of the first things I noticed is that the headphone jack is not the standard 3mm one, but it comes with and adapter although the curled wire is not very long.Sound seemed ok testing it out around the house, but on the road it was washed out by wind noise.Listening to music it would automatically raise the volume which worked but when on the phone I could only hear mumbling (they said they could hear me fine though).
I ended up returning the Scala but I think it would have worked better in a standard full face helmet.I think the flip-face one that I have is just too loud and there is too much wind noise.
Install was pretty straight forward and not very difficult.
