(More customer reviews)This bag fits nicely on the backseat of my Goldwing.It has top snap-together connectors/straps that can be attached in the trunk and side straps to firmly hold the bag while riding.The top handle has rivets and seems to be put together well.It also has shoulder straps for easy carrying.I use this bag for trips from St Louis to Dallas and also on my military weekends to haul my gear on the bike.The rain cover fits nicely but the bag still got wet near the bottom several times.The raincover has a elastic bottom and the cover also has openings for the top strap connectors.
I've had this bag for about 2 years and so far nothing has ripped or torn on it.The trunk connectors appear to get rubbed/pressed alot between the truck pieces on the Goldwing when the trunk lid is closed.Those pieces will probably be the first to go but the nylon attachments are still holding.I have a back rest installed on my bike and the depth of the bag does not quite fit between the back side of the backrest and backseat, but without the backrest installed and if you pack the bag tightly, it will also provide a backrest effect.It comes with plenty of straps and I ususally attached the two top corner brackets/straps and one strap each on the side handles.The bag opening is on the large side of the bag which does make it a little weird when packing since the bag is usually lying down.When I stand the bag up all my clothes shift to the bottom (best to pack from the bottom up).
I will probably buy another one to have on stand by incase my first one ever breaks.I also use the smaller version of this bag for short trips.
