(More customer reviews)I just received this jacket and I am very happy. Here's what I've noted so far:
- Very high quality leather - soft, thick and heavy
- Fits nearly as it should, perhaps a bit on the small side. I am 5'11" 190lbs with a 44" chest and the US size 44 fits me very snug through the chest (as it should) and the sleeves are the perfect length.
- The perforated leather in the sides under the arms really works well. I can feel air moving around my waist even at low speeds.
- The back pad is memory foam, so you'll definitely want to get a CE approved replacement for that.
- This jacket looks fabulous. I got the all black version and it's understated, classy but still very sporty and flattering to those of us carrying extra weight. It even elicited a "wow" from my wife (who is not very fashion conscious at all).
Final thoughts - this jacket has a ton of value. It really is an all around performer. It's full-grain leather, beautifully made, atypically understated for an A-Stars product, vents well, has high quality CE armor and is at a reasonable price point. It's been discontinued by Astars for whatever reason, so it's hard to find in the right size. But for the money you won't find a nicer jacket.
