(More customer reviews)When I say coolest, I mean temperature.I have worn a number of different helmets of all sorts.Fulle Face, 3/4, and half helmets.I like my melon to remain as undamaged as possible, but staying cool is important too for me to enjoy my time on my Harley. Half helmets don't provide enough protection, and I have yet to find a half helmet that doesn't lift of my head at speed anyway. Full face helmets are just way too hot in the high temperatures here in the Southeast.So finding a balance with a 3/4 helmet seemed to be the way to go.
When I first tried on this helmet, the fit was amazing.It was the best fitting for my head.No pinching, or loose spots in the helmet that indicate a bad fit.The ratchet chin strap was nice and sturdy and made strapping on the helmet or unstrapping very easy.
The face shield is sturdy and can easily be removed and cleaned without the need for tools.
The aerodynamics of this helmet are pretty good as well.There seems to be less buffetting of my head at speed which was a pleasant change from some helmets I have used.The biggest and most noticable aspect to this helmet though, is how cool it is.There are 2 front vents and 2 more mesh vents on either side of your head, but it still feels like a very solid helmet.
I highly recommend this helmet.It is a nice balance between comfort and safety.
