(More customer reviews)Great set of bags. They fit real nice. they match my tank bag, so they look nice. Easy to mount and demount. Easy to load and get into. My first ride out I lost a rain cover (turned around and picked it up off the road). I did scotch guard them, and if I use the rain covers i can tie them down so if they come off i do not lose them.I just did a 1000 mile trip mostly on gravel as I have a DL1000 V-Strom. It seems they were custom fit for the bike. The padding sits right on the exhaust pipe and ater a 300 mile constant ride they did not melt : ) also it has nice holes to put a bungie net on it for my bag on the rear seat. and it looks like it was made to order.
The only reason I did not get it 5 stars is that I took my daughter out for a ride with them attached and she said it was kind of weird with the bags on. I think it was more of a visual thing, kind of like riding a buel and looking down and seeing the big air box on the side when you are driving and going yikes what is that, oh yeah its my air box. Probably the next few times out she will not even notice them. I have not tried them in the rain as my trip was perfect weather. When I ride in the rain I will post a new post or add to this. I do have the neslon rigg tank bag and have to put the rain cover on when it rains or things will get wet. I never did scotch gard the tank bag though.
