(More customer reviews)The windshield is quite a bit taller than it looks in the picture, even at the lowest position I wish it was an inch shorter, but that is because I like to look over the windshield, not through it. Another issue with the shield is that it vibrates. Perhaps, it could have been made a little thicker without driving the cost too high up, but I'm not a windshield engineer. The vibrating edge is a little distracting, but I suppose I will get used to it.
Otherwise, the windshield serves its purpose very well; annoying wind noise, which is a feature of the stock v-strom windshield, is a thing of the past, I can finally hear the engine.
