My old throttle boss is essentially a plastic paddle that I rest my palm on. It's way too wide and glove/mitten riding is a tricky affair with getting caught at throttle down time.
The Kuryakyn Universal's rubbery material grips my hand or gloves without the over-sized smooth plastic paddle.
I should have ordered two. One for me and a random "winner" on my next group ride.
