(More customer reviews)the only other hjc i had ever owned was a cl-15, which this replaced. the color scheme and overall finish was an improvement, finish seems tougher. and i got lucky in that it uses the same windscreen as the 15, given i had 4 different spares. can't comment on the vent system so much (closed til spring) but i will say that i notice more noise with hjc helmets. but the fit is awesome. and i don't know if i ever wore a lighter feeling helmet. it is rated as safe as the $600 shoei i have for my touring bike and a lot cheaper. not to mention more comfy. it made me sell my icon on a rider forum. and at the cost of 125 bones, i can afford to have a couple around.
pros:extremely lightweight. nice sporty durable finish, doesn't scratch easy and cleans up well. nice padding and fit. windscreen seals well, is easy to open and close with a few positive stops, and super easy to remove and replace. decent chinstrap with snap for slack.low price.
cons: a bit noisy compared to other brands.
