(More customer reviews)I owned this helmet for about 6 months when the hinge came apart. AFX did send me a repair kit, but there were no instructions. I was told to figure it out myself or take it to a dealer. I can certainly figure it out, but I expect more from customer service from any company, especially for items under warranty.After taking the helmet apart myself, I discovered that the hinge becomes loose over time causing the lock device (to hold the flip up face) separates. Eventually, without repair, the loose hinge gets worse and worse. All you can do is retighten the single screw on each side. After another 3 months (I have had this for 9 months now), the flip up face separated again. The repair kit they originally sent included the plastic screws for disassembly, but now they are all stripped where the flat head screwdriver tightens the screw. This helmet is a disaster. If repairing this helmet every 3-6 months is something you prefer, then this helmet is for you. As for me, I have spent my hard-earned money on another higher-quality helmet.
