These in particular are thicker due to the padding on the inside of the palm, which will no doubt insure better longevity, not to mention be ideal for motorcycle riding. They ship fast, so be ready for them.
As for me, I am used to the unlined kind, which make for better dexterity, but deteriorate quicker. So these gloves are different than what I am used to, but nevertheless are of good quality.
