(More customer reviews)I have owned other riding jackets before and found this one of the best fits for me so far. Even the price is amazing! Here's a breakdown of my honest opinion for this jacket:
Fitting: This jacket fits me perfectly. I am 5'11", 200 lb. with a shirt size: 16.5, 34-35.
Pros:
- An absolute steal for the price
- Great visibility. I see more heads turn now than ever before. It has the same bright color as safety vests seen on workers on the roadway.
- Very comfortable. The inner liner has a cloth interior making it comfortable to wear on bare skin, so your arms won't stick to the liner if you sweat while wearing a T-shirt. I own a Joe Rocket jacket that actually costs more than this one, and the liner in it has no cloth lining on the inside. It get's very uncomfortable when the liner sticks to my skin and makes it feel very itchy. Bottom line, even the waterproof/windproof liner on this jacket is awesome.
- Great for cool weather. I can comfortably ride wearing this jacket on a T-shirt with the liner attached in temperatures as low as 45F on the street (<35 mph) and 55F for speeds over 35 mph.
- The protective pads are nicely placed. All the pads fit snug on my body. I own jackets where the some protective pads are more snug than others. I found ALL the pads in this jacket to fit snug to my body.
Cons:
- The sleeves of the waterproof/windproof liner are shorter than the actual jacket. Feels a bit awkward initially but you get used to it.
- Could use more reflective striping. I would have liked this jacket even more if it had two vertical reflective strips in the back on top of each shoulder blade to improve night visibility.
Bottom line: Great for any motorcycle commuter, like me. Improves safety and is amazingly comfortable. Buy it now before it goes out of stock for this super low price!
