It says that its 3.5 inches long, in reality its 2 3/8 inches long.Frame sliders are used to protect a motorcycle when it falls on its side.We needed these slides to not only protect our bikes side but to protect our turn signals to protect them from hitting the ground.Since the sliders were to short they wouldn't do the job.

We contacted the seller and arranged for an exchange for their extended frame sliders.The company would not send them out until they received the shorter frame sliders first.So we sent the item back and paid a little more for tracking.Thank God we did because they had no record of receiving them.The company agreed to send out the extended frame sliders and we just received the package and guess what...they are the same size frame sliders that we had originally ordered, same part number, etc.

Its been over a month now and we still don't have the item we need and we're out money for shipping as well.In this economy you would think they would double check everything that went out the door to make sure they kept their customers.Well they lost me and I'm telling everyone I know who owns a motorcycle not use them.I will never use this company again and I would not recommend them to a friend.Avoid at all cost.The 1 star rating is for the company not the item.The item looked fine.

Installation Note:

Remove your fairings
Mount the frame sliders in the engine mount locations
Cut the fairings to allow the sliders to stick out (Suggest to use dremel tool to make the hole larger)
Remount the fairings
