I don't mean you should ride out of control but there will be times when you try something at the limits of your ability or the conditions make a trail or obstacle harder than usual. Good protection is then something that's really a comfort. The problem is that kneee pads can be very uncomfortable. These 661 evo pads are great. They are comfortable, don't bind and provide good protection adn allow you to adjust them. They are comfortable in warm and cold weather and can be worn under baggie shorts.
