(More customer reviews)I bought these to replace the aging Kenda Klaws on my MTB, in the slight hopes of gaining speed on the street(most of my riding is on streets or packed dirt trails). I think these might actually have more rolling resistance than the old knobbies, but where they really shine is cornering.The round profile makes the bike very responsive, and you can lay the bike on its side without the tires coming unstuck from the pavement.I'm in more danger of cratering my rims than losing traction. They're so soft and grippy that pebbles and sand stick to them.That might mean that they wear out quicker, but man, I'm going to have fun in the meantime.And, Niagara Cycle Works offers them for about half the price that my local high-end bike shop does.
