(More customer reviews)Most gloves wear out on me in about a year, almost always between the index finger and thumb.The Mechanix Wear lasted about 2.5 years.It would have lasted longer if I stuck to mechanical type jobs where I was trying to protect my fingers from impact.But they were so comfortable that I used them for yard work, splitting wood, etc.The leather on the fingertips is thinner than many gloves....which is a good thing if you need to feel something.But for heavy use, it eventually wore through on 4 fingertips.
