(More customer reviews)It's good to know where you're going on a motorcycle, but motorcycles seem to have more magnetic interference generators on 'em than most cars, so if you want a bike compass, this is really the only option.
The mounting system as supplied is ok - and the black-painted, brass bracket supplied SHOULD be used, though I added a Kuryakyn handlebar clamp to my Sportster installation. The compass is extremely well shielded from all the EMF generated by my electronic speedo, and so far appears quite accurate - though it also has E/W & N/S compensator adjustments if you actually need to "swing" your compass.
And it doesn't need power supplies or batteries like a GPS...
The only fly in the viscous damping fluid is that I was sent one with a White compass ball, where a Black one would have been better. Looks like I'll order another - in Black - then sell this one.
All in all - the ideal navigational accessory for any biker.
