But whilst the ad I bought this cover off didn't SPECIFCIALLY* state that it doesn't fit a V-Rod, it did state it fit all HD twins. It doesn't.
I see ads for this part # all the time stating it DOES fit the v-rod range too. But a cursory call to kuryakyn confirmed it's not v-rod supported (and boy were they rude!). So in terms of product this is excellent.
If you want it to fit a v-rod you'll have to fabricate a bracket and force it in place. I love the look on my bike, and actually love the fact it took some jigging to get it on there. It blends into the fins and gone is the 'blister' horn cover that graces ALL stock v-rods.
It's not rocket science to get it to fit and I'm surprised Kuryakyn haven't bothered to make a custom bracket for V-rod owners.
Recommended highly if it's the look you're after and you can use a dremel or welding torch.
