(More customer reviews)i actually ordered this jacket for a riding buddy's christmas present, mostly because he would never get one and i am a stickler for wearing proper gear on any ride. once i recieved it, i was almost too embarrassed to give it to him. i offered it with a lot of weak excuses like, "this will do til you can get a better one" and "it's a cheapie but it will get you by". and that's the truth of the matter. the jacket has maybe one atribute and that was the zip in liner, which i found to be almost as good as any other jacket has. the exterior material is "flimsy" to say the least. very thin nylon and paper thin leather (i guess). on the plus side, it was very light weight. the thing almost appears "disposable" in quality. and for the money i spent, i'd have better served my friend with a good used jacket or a few dollars more would have gotten a nice field shear brand jacket, or maybe even another major brand on closeout. in my honest opinion, the materials are so substandard that i can't imagine the fair retail price being more than half what i paid. i won't ever purchase Xelement products in the future. sorry to bash, but i call them as i see them.
