(More customer reviews)Black or Chrome, it didn't matter to me.On my bike it's hidden under a fairing anyway.I bought this for the nut welded on the end of the filter.This is such a simple solution especially if you have a bike with fairings that are a pita to remove.Easy on and off using the nut and a socket extention.
If you've ever had to punch a screwdriver through an oil filter and tap it loose with a hammer (potentially endangering knuckles or fairings) this is the answer to your problems.
Seems to perform fine.I haven't discovered any issues with the filter performance.
This is the only filter I'll ever buy again.
