This Balaclava is super thin, which isnice - it'll fit under my motorcycle helmet just fine.The unfortunate part is that the seam is right in the middle of your face, and it'll rub quite uncomfortably against the tip of your nose.You can flip it inside-out but it does have a slightly different feel on the inside (same material, but the weave is different).
I was also disappointed (like I often am with Amazon purchases) in the overly large packaging - the balaclava is thin enough you could get it into a standard size envelope, and you could have probably fit 20-30 of them in the actual box it came in - but that's another story...
