(More customer reviews)I picked these pants because they were offered in long sizing. The fit was good, somewhat bulky when not wearing as overpants. I rode in 100F days, ventilation was OK. When the bottom of the pants touched a hot pipe, it burned a hole. Many pants have heat-resistant material in the areas likely to touch hot pipes, but not these.
Recently I was involved in a relatively mild low side crash. I slid about 20-30', mostly on the seat. The seat of these pants has 2 layers of nylon. The first layer wore through, but the second one separated at the seam and became useless. The stitching also failed in a knee area, which didn't even have a significant impact damage. I wrote Scorpion about the stitching issue. They answered that they don't have to comply with any safety standards. Full featured motorcycle pants are less comfortable than riding jeans, and I expected them to provide a greater degree of protection. Overall, I'm very disappointed.
