Didn't come with instructions, but it's really easy to put together. However, I immediately ran into one problem while assembling the stand; the holes weren't drilled far down enough on the two elbow-shaped pieces, so they wobbled about 1/2 to 1 inch around, even when screwed in tight. This is my first stand so I'm not sure if they're suppose to do that or not, but I just wrapped the two ends with paper towels to fill the gap, thus eliminating the problem. The two pieces that hold onto the swingarm spools are adjustable by sliding closer in or further apart, and held in place by a screw. I own an '01 Yamaha R6, and it fits when they're about mid-way. Very solid stand, bike doesn't shake at all when it's on the stand. I gave the bike a gentle push and pull to simulate accidental bumps and it held up great. I've used it once to clean and lube my chain. If you're looking for an affordable and ordinary bike stand, this is a good buy
