The jacket is super heavy and it has a zip out liner. There are plenty of pockets to stash stuff and there's a waist belt, attached to the jacket so you won't lose it, for added protection and warmth. When it arrived at my door, I thought it would be too small because it was packaged just right, so the shipping box was compact, but when I got it out and tried it on, it was perfect.
Even though I live in Los Angeles, CA, I'm sure I'll be able to wear the jacket out when it gets cooler in winter, just have to leave the liner at home.
Two points:
Order ONE-SIZE UP. I normally wear a large in shirts and jackets, but after reading the reviews for this jacket at Leatherup-dot-com, mostly all of them suggest ordering the next size up, which is what I did. I ordered the XL and it fits perfectly!
I also suggest buying from the Leatherup website because it's cheaper and you can still pay with your Amazon account. I'm not sure why Leatherup isn't listed as a third party seller directly on Amazon, but when you go to their website and check-out, the payment options come up to "pay using your Amazon account."
Anyway, I highly recommend buying this jacket for those looking for a cool jacket, whether or not you ride a motorcycle or scooter.
